Run a few short oil changes of 3000 miles with a good synthetic, take your pick, i would run Amsoil 0w30 signature series myself. Then increase your OCI from there.

Nice install, here is mine on my 2003 CRV. I'm currently running AZO 0w30. BTW, I have the service manual for my CRV, and it clearly states 20, 30, and 40 grades of oil are suitable for the engine, a 40 grade would be suited for warmer or summer weather, IMO.

0w30 motor oil will work just 'fine'. Anyone else don't like this word?

How would you put an orifice on the in flow side of a filter? My bypass setup from Amsoil has it on the out flow, after the filter.
