    Exactly, with a regular 50/50 mix, if lose water in 50/50 mixture just top it up with distilled water, and that keeps the mixture at 50/50 without increasing the glycol concentration over time. usually lost about 50–100 ml per month (roughly 1/4 quart)

    No overheating issue here — temps stay steady at 93°C (199°F). The problem is that after a year the mix creeps up to ~60% glycol, likely from water loss in our extreme heat. That’s why I’m leaning toward glycol-free VP Stay Frosty with yearly changes for better heat transfer.

    Since VP Stay Frosty has corrosion inhibitor and the company recommends replacing it every two years (I change mine every year because of the climate and because a 50/50 coolant tends to shift to 60/40 after a year), using VP Stay Frosty now seems like a better option than regular coolant.
