    Polaris closing Victory

The Vegas and 8 ball models were some good looking good running bikes. The baggers look to batmobile for me. The Indians especially the Scout models are selling quick. I have seen a few of them around..only a few Chief models.

    Trying ATF in Harley primary

A grabby clutch feel is not good on a decent hill waiting for a red light to go green. A Harley clutch properly lubed and set up properly. You should be able to hold the bike on the hill by lightly engaging clutch.

Pennzoil Synchromesh in a 2006 sportster primary?

Yea, that is all good, but I was wondering what folks thought about Pennzoil Synchromesh in the primary.

Everyday is New Years I guess. Short of a hurricane: I leave the compound on two wheels.

04 up bikes got the oil squirters that helped cool the bottom and inner piston surface. Massive improvement on the evolution xl motor.

Pennzoil Synchromesh in a 2006 sportster primary?

I never considered running motor oil in the primary. Many folks do. [censored], I know a dude that drains and dumps a quart of straight 30w in his sportster primary every 3000 miles and I believe he is well over a 100,000 on it. I believe you could pee in the hole and it would be fine...

    Sportster 1200 recommendations

Found this thread and thought I would add this to it for posterity. It seems the 06 Sportsters were some of the best built most reliable bikes built by the MoCo. I know of one owner Parrothead from the xlforum that does the iron butt stuff: His mileage just clicked over 205,000 virtually trouble...

    Trying ATF in Harley primary

Exactly. I believe ya could [censored] in there and it would be fine. The oil in the primary is for cooling purposes for the clutch and lube for the primary chain. That's it. Those trans gears are what make the clunk and that is usually related to cold too thick of an oil. I believe since 06 all...

Thinking about a new Tourer. Harley or Indian.

I put over 245,000 miles on a 1998 Heritage. Wife on the back [censored]' all the way. They don't call them marshmellows for nothing. I have never liked how glide series looked, and my first bike was a 1969 FLH cop bike bought at the New Orleans Police auction in 1976. The new Indians are almost...

Pennzoil Synchromesh in a 2006 sportster primary?

Figure I would throw this at my oil nerd brothers. I don't like formula + and I don't like the gear oil choices. Looking at what the Pennzoil Synchromesh is comprised of and what it does; Compared to the f+ it looks way better. The gear oils contain too much [censored] that a modern sportster...

Harley Davidson Owners w/100,000 Miles on Bike

Okay now, don't be disrespecting the mighty evo. That motor saved Harleys [censored]. Sure first couple years had cam and lifter problems, but once that was corrected they became very durable reliable motors. I had an 88 heritage that I put over 100,000 miles on with very little problem. The...

Harley Davidson Owners w/100,000 Miles on Bike

Uh,do you metric riders have rallies, or drag races.. or do you just ride like clowns on the open roads. I see metric riders scooped up with shovels every week. I have friends that ride panheads, shovelheads, evos and the Twinkies. They all seem to be running fine with thousands of miles on them.

    Electric bike from Harley Davidson

Harley is looking forward. The internal combustion engine isn't going to be around forever. [censored] 74 horses and 54 ft pounds of torque. Not bad.
