    Oil for 1993 BMW 325is

With that many miles, I would stick with a non-synthetic to keep drinking/leaks down. We have a `93 325is in our family with 180k miles and run Chevron Delo 15w40 at 5k intervals. BMW actually recommends 15w40's for their older cars and you can buy BMW (aka Castrol) 15w40 bottled oil at the...

    240,000 miles on a 03 Accord I4 Auto

My buddy just bought a 2000 BMW 528iT with ~265k on the clock from the original owner and it has the original tranny (and engine of course). The tranny is on its way out though, GM unit. AFAIK, the unit has never had the fluid changed. Car is nice inside and out, those E39's hold up well. It...

    Opinions on Isuzu FTR/International 4300/GMC 6500

So our business will be needing to buy a new over the road `24 box truck in the near future and I'm trying to learn a bit about the choices. From the past I've known Isuzu's were great in terms of reliability and ease of getting around...however you pay a decent amount more for a FTR over say a...

How many miles are on your rides.

In the family: `93 BMW 325is (brother's with ~165k miles & Delo 15w40) `99 BMW M coupe (mine with 72k miles & Delo 15w40) `04 BMW 330i ZHP (mother's with 46k miles & BMW 5w30) And my father drives the rental cars in our business we own.

    BMW 550 OIL RECOMMENDATION

Do not use 10w60 in the non-M engines, that's way overkill and is not approved nor allowed under warranty. BMW's 5w30 oil is fine along with other LL-01/LL-04 approved oils such as Mobil 1 0w40, Castrol 0w30, Lubro Moly 5w30, Elf 5w30, Amsoil 5w40, etc.

    2007 Mazda6, w/2.3l AT ... opinions???

Our family owns a rental car fleet and we have some of the Value Edition models, good cars. I like them more than the Camry but I actually prefer how the Accord and Altima drive but the Mazda6 is no doubt the best looking inside and out.

    1996 BMW M3 (3.2L), BMW 5w-30 and GC, 6500 miles

    I'm using Chevron Delo 15w40 in my S52 (`96 engine w/ 110k miles in a `89 325is). Runs smooth and doesn't drink much

If you could drive any car across USA...,

Well I would go with a McLaren F1 or Carrera GT if money is no object. More realistically a M5/M6 or 911 Turbo would be nice also

    Porsche Carrera GT

I rode in one not too long after they came out, to this day no car I've been in can even begin to come close to that piece of machinery. No matter what you think, believe me, a ride will blow your mind. That chassis/engine/suspension are a century ahead most other cars. Not to mention it can...
