TL;DR - The help hotlines, internet links, etc leave a lot to be desired.
I can't speak to the return policy but I noticed they make it impossible to make a complaint about the delivery driver. While I'm rarely in the situation where I feel a complaint needs to be made regarding a worker, I...
I know I'm late to the party but for your use, as mentioned in post #3, I'd suggest BFG KO3. I do not have experience with the KO3 yet but I've been in multiple trucks with KO2 when they were out and they're fantastic tires. I can't imagine the new version would disappoint or be that much...
Just last week this came up in a similar thread on a machining forum I'm on. So I'll copy and paste my post from there.
New kid started and the foreman is doing the shop walkthrough with him to meet everyone. He gets to one of the high-speed guys and my foreman says "watch out for this one...
My auto insurance (Country Financial) will cover a rebuilt title as comprehensive-only. I am going off of an experience from about fifteen years ago so that may have changed. I have not had a reason to look into it since.
Along with the addition of lubricity-adding fuel additive. Should be in good shape.
I know there is always back-and-forth about additives that already exist in pump diesel vs. end user adding fuel additive to pump diesel but, to me, it's pretty cheap insurance to do my best to make the fuel...
I thought that 460 number stood out to me and sure enough, it is what Hot Shots uses as a reference for their wear scar testing.
Pulled from Hot Shots' EDT page -
EDT provides maximum protection for fuel systems and their components, especially fuel injectors and fuel pumps. It is infused...
Well-put. Thank you.
I'm not sure about other states as I have never paid attention but IL pumps always say "up to 20% bio". I don't know enough about biodiesel to have an opinion on the matter ( I read up on it some years ago but have forgotten most of it), but all the pumps around here say...
TL;DR - Fill up at a high-turnover non-TopTier or a low-turnover TopTier fuel station?
I am interested in opinions on something I've been going back and forth on in my head. I am very particular to always get diesel fuel from high-turnover places. There is a Pilot truck stop near my work that...
Agreed. If I'm going outside to check tire pressures I just bring a few with me to check them to each other. If three different pencil gages of various age, brand, and max readout all say the same thing I'm going with it.
My family has a summerhome in Lake Of The Woods, Ontario. Just north of Nestor Falls. So, for curiosity, I have Nestor Falls' weather along with my home's (about 50mi west of Chicago) weather on my phone. You would think the weather up there would be more cold than here but it's rarely the case...
Did you ever go back and try that pump again?
I used a pump once that took twenty minutes to fill up half of my truck tank. The dollar amount was going up like the gallon amount usually does. By the time I realized this I figured I might as well just let it run instead of moving. But I since I...
