    Rumors about NAR settlement

I see people buying unrepresented. Buyer's agents hardly do anything compared to selling agents. At least they have several expenses like photos, staging, etc. But the fees across the industry are downright atrocious and I'm glad this is happening.

Stellantis Propulsion Engineer Interview About Their New Hurricane Engine

I don’t think there is. I see the same pressures at higher RPMs between my 5.7 and 6.2. Idle pressures are a different story.

    Liftmaster Garage door opener issues

Does it flash a code on the unit when this happens? Usually does.

Stellantis Propulsion Engineer Interview About Their New Hurricane Engine

Both my 6.2 and 5.7 have the same temps....hovered around 220 once fully warmed up and driven normally for a while. The 6.2 saw 250 at times when driven hard. Don't really drive my 5.7 hard like the 6.2.

Stellantis Propulsion Engineer Interview About Their New Hurricane Engine

This is good reading for our engine builders and tuners community.

Stellantis Propulsion Engineer Interview About Their New Hurricane Engine

If what you say is true, think about it like this. The Hellcat motor uses the same exact lifters as the 5.7 and 6.4. Why do the 5.7 and 6.4 fail so much more?

Stellantis Propulsion Engineer Interview About Their New Hurricane Engine

A lot more than than a small pulley and a tune. The 6.2 can’t make 300 off of that. Lol. Injectors, pump, lower, interchiller, ported bearing plate, 108mm snout and TB, cat deletes, and others. I’m not worried about my 6.2 chewing a cam; they simply don’t have that problem….because why? You...

Stellantis Propulsion Engineer Interview About Their New Hurricane Engine

You don't hear about FCA lifters failing at 3K or less like GM does. That's the difference. 5.7 and 6.4 Hemis eat cams due to excessive idling and they exhibit these failures after some time of engine usage. This is documented and proven. Sure there are a few isolated cases of early on lifter...

Stellantis Propulsion Engineer Interview About Their New Hurricane Engine

I’ll just agree to disagree with you on this. GM and Ford failures have nothing to do with this conversation. There’s tons of reputable hemi builders that have the same beliefs I do. I’ve been in the hemi game for a while. Take this video, for example:

Stellantis Propulsion Engineer Interview About Their New Hurricane Engine

I was able to squeeze about 300 more hp out of my 6.2L with no mods to the engine internals. Reliably as well. We’ll know the limits of the RHO engine soon enough. Lol

Stellantis Propulsion Engineer Interview About Their New Hurricane Engine

That is true for the 5.7 and 6.4; both eat cams with what appears to be low oil pressure and flow. The 6.2 does not have this problem. It also has a higher volume oil pump.

Stellantis Propulsion Engineer Interview About Their New Hurricane Engine

Interesting. Seeing how the main bearings are the same, I'm guessing the HO version has maybe forged components? Or maybe the stroke is slightly less or longer?

Stellantis Propulsion Engineer Interview About Their New Hurricane Engine

He talks about oil around 22:20. Amongst other things, he talks about the normal Hurricane calling for 0W-20 and the High Output calling for 0W-40 when both engines are essentially identical. Makes me even lean more to filling my '23 Ram 5.7 with 5W-30 instead of 0W-20 that it calls for...
