Ahh, thanks - than I keep it. I belive that w123 and w116 diffs are pretty much the same. /Niclas

Oops I didn't know that the synthetic might creep out. Thanks for the info! I was aiming for "maximum protection" since it's a bit worn, it has 300000km on the odo. /Niclas

I have old Merc with a non-LS diff and a 4.5 litre V8. The handbook says SAE90 for the diff but I bought Castrol SAF-XO 75W-90 (Synthetic), what do you think? Is it a good chioce? I live in Sweden so the temperature very seldom goes above 30 degrees Celsius. /Niclas
