Thoughts on which oil to go with? Girlfriend’s vehicle with almost 70K miles... 6 qt. sump... specs 5W-30 dexos. Seems to use a qt. of oil sometime during OCI. She changes it per the OLM.
Had been changing oil at the dealer. I changed it the last couple times using Mobil 0W-30 AFE and PP 5W-30...

Personally, I like Kohler 10W-30 Universal Engine oil that is dual rated SL/CG-4. Local hardware stores stock it for about $3 a quart while Tractor Supply wants some goofy price that I have forgotten about.
I've never seen Kohler oil for less than $5/qt around here...

What zinc? High mileage oils don't appear to have any more zinc than regular oil if both are rated SN.
