If you do a sample with brand x and y mixed the results will not be 100% accurate, but the thing you want to look for is a number that is wildly out to lunch like iron suddenly at 200ppm. That's an issue, but if the number is not wacky then carry on.

Check out YT for spindle bearing seals. A lot of mower spindles have double sealed bearings and a grease nipple that is just for looks. Easy to replace and usually a source for odd noises.

I might burn 2 cans of the VP fuel per year so yes it is expensive per gallon but I got them on sale so $25 per year is not going to hurt my wallet. As a commercial user it would be unaffordable, in that case I'd be mixing my own.

I am looking at 50+ branches worth of sample data every day and we have some but not all 13L & 16L showing elevated levels of silver. Since most units only have 1 sample so far it is impossible to draw any conclusions. I'd be interested in seeing 3 or more consecutive results from the same user...

That is a low power, low RPM truck engine. 10w40 will be fine in that engine. If you have any questions on it's past history then Valvoline Restore and Protect is the new superstar oil. 5w30 would suit that engine just fine as well.

Part of the PDI is to check all fluid levels. Safe levels on the dipstick have some level of interpretation depending on the tech doing the PDI. Being slightly overfull is no issue, being 50% over full is.
