But why? What's the difference between the two? I mean, I know they're different material but why do people think that nitrile is worse? And for me, I change Dino oil every 5,000 km and every 10,000 km for synthetic.

Okay, so let's say for argument's sake that the ones made in China are made of nitrile. Is that a really, really bad thing?

Are you positive it's nitrile? I get that the color is grey or black vs the red or orange, but how do you/we know the grey/black is nitrile and not silicone? Are you just assuming this from the color of it?

I'm happy to get filters (or anything) from anywhere, so long as the quality it there and the price is right. Although it sounds virtuous to calim you don't support products from socialist, or communist countires, or child labor, the reality it almost everything you already have and buy daily is...

Thanks everyone for your comments. Based on them I've ordered a dozen of the Wix 67356 from that company. We'll see how it goes. I'm also hopeful when/if they arrive they'll be ones made in the USA like all my other Wix and Napa filters have been. Thanks again for your comments.

Can someone tell me if there is a setting I can choose (I've looked and can't find it) that allows an email to be sent to me when someone replies to one of my posts? It used to happen automatically, or there was at least an option to receive an immediate email when a reply to the post happened...
