I've been using QSUD Euro 5w40. Cheapest Euro oil out there usually. I use this in my E55, L320 Range Rover Sport HSE, Range Rover SC 4.2. You are right that there are not many UOA for these cars, perhaps can change that...

I have not seen one recently. This oil is popular with the Mercedes Sprinter folk, as it meets the 229.51 spec while being 'thicker' than most available oils. Of course, folks are leaning towards the 229.52 spec now. In theory the oil is the same as the Dexos 2 compatible amalie 5w40...

Savagegeese ran 0w20 redline and got an analysis after tracking his GR86. Positive results in wear but he had some good points otherwise on pressures.

Perhaps the difference between C40 and A40 is a better example then. There are some debates how the ESP type low - mid saps oils might be the latest flagships. What magic is involved? Who knows. Pennzoil Euro L is the cheapest LL-04 out there for mid saps and QSUD , 0w40FS are the cheapest full...

I think the most interesting benefit of API SP or further reformulations is the intake deposit officially being tested for DI engines. Irrespective of LSPI.

Thanks for the reminder. This sucker is going in the 911. A40 approved. Most qualified cheapest Euro oil out there. 0w40 Mobil has a lower pour point but well within the range of most.
