I bought a box of three jugs in June of last year off Amazon for $21/jug.

I wonder if this Valvoline has a similar ester content to the ESP.

Both my Walmarts have plenty of oil. Very little Dexos licensed. PUP 0W-20 is $40 a jug.

Did you get the free CQ EP filter with it? The current ad says “any” five quarts. They let me get the filters when I picked up the PP 10W-30 on clearance.

You can still make a good deal on the bay boxes from Walmart. Last year, they gave me $20 per box through Venmo. Very easy. After reading the fine print, it looks like virtual cards this year. Perhaps they'll work with you on the math for maximizing bay box rebates.

Several stores near me have a limited supply of the Max filters. Only a couple of rows of filters. Two stores have a full selection. Must be a slow rollout.
