The PCV is built into the valve cover and is not replaceable unless you buy a whole valve cover. Please correct me if I’m wrong?
The truck has done some some heavy towing every now and then but not that frequently. The last several months of driving she has done nothing but highway driving with...
Thanks for the suggestion I will definitely look into switching brands on the next OCI. The PCV on this truck is considered non-serviceable and it’s built into the driver side valve cover and cannot be changed unless you buy a whole new valve cover I couldn’t find anything saying people are...
Almost a quart in about 3,600 miles. It would burn/lose a little before and I would top it off just because I like my dipstick being at the full level. To me it definitely seems like it’s increased though since this last oil change.
The PCV is non serviceable on this truck and is built into the driver side valve cover. I did find this online:
IMCV or intake manifold crankcase vent valve as my ford tech calls it. There are also 2 valves, one on the valve cover which is nothing more than a check valve, then the IMCV which is...
Howdy all, I have a 2008 Ford F150 5.4 3v with 138k. I took ownership of it about 75k and it was maintained with regular oil changes and 5w20 by the previous owner(gave me records). I continued my oil change intervals 5w30 synthetic with various different brands but all of good quality. My oil...
In my front differential on my RZR 800 I use Tractor Supply Traveler Universal Tractor Trans Hydraulic Oil it is John Deere Spec J20C which works perfect on Polaris AWD hubs and differentials.

I know that oil performs well in my Toyota 4Runner in my signature. So that is a good choice to start with and maybe do a UOA. I am just a little concerned of high temperature wear protection as it gets pretty hot here and with me revving it hard hear and there.
Hey guys just looking for some recommendations on a lube for my newly acquired 12 Mazda MX-5 Miata. I had some old (2014) PP 5W-20 that I threw in there. But I like finding a more permanent oil to stick with. I usually buy the best available oil from Walmart. The car sees mostly highway miles...
Second UOA pushed it farther this time same oil both times. Using OEM oil filter. They are telling me the silicon is high, I changed the air filter with another OEM last oil change, same results. Not sure why it is trending like this. They told me to back off a little because the oxidation was...
^Yep that is exactly what I was looking at. I understand what you are doing now completely this should help me big time! Much appreciated sir. Now I just need to set aside some time to get this done. Thanks!
