Part number 124715 is the new blue label hp and they discontinued the older gray label one, it was part number 122210. Amazon or ebay or somewhere like that might try and get rid of some real old stock….i guess the newer stuff was formulated towards fixing issues with gm transmissions a while...

I am going to assume 95% you have limited slip and need a LS GEAR LUBE OF 75w90…for the diffs is most probable. The transmission is totally different of course and depending if you had the shutter issue transmission or even not you may need a total flush with the special Mobil 1 gm specified fluid.
Would it be ok to put the higher quality MOBIL 1 SYNTHETIC LV ATF HP in the transfer case as well? I have a 2021 colorado and it has the awd feature…was going to order the good recommended stuff for my transmission and wondered if its ok to just throw the same stuff in the transfer case?

I changed the oil in my rear differential already, unfortunately I did some research after the oil change and taking advice from the guy at the autoparts store. I put in Amsoil 75w90 long life synthetic gear lube, he basically said it is gl-5 approved and doesn’t contain the limited slip...
