Yup. I left the filter on and have another round of AC in. After I run another 6k in my wife’s car I will check the filter again (9k total in service miles with Mobil 1 Advanced Clean). Again, will prove nothing but I still think it will be a cleaner filter than Valvoline Restore and Protect...

I wouldn't count out the vast amount of knowledge in BITOG. If you go through the trouble to do all of the testing you say and post it here, the people will surely view it and be appreciative of it, and others will just say it's a waste. Its your time/money do with it as you please;) (y)

I was unaware of the 3.5 NA in the 17 models.. good to know! Also, a good point with the lack of Ecoboost badges. could be the 5.0 as mentioned

Off the bat, I can tell you it's an XL trim. As for the drivetrain, I would put money on the 2.7 Ecoboost. I think that engine is more common in this trim.

I would make it a point to switch drive modes when first getting into the car. I also think that the oil system is still circulating while in EV. I don't know for sure, and this could be vehicle-specific, but my wife's car, I do hear some sort of pump running.

No PEA. A member here on BITOG works at Gold Eagle confirmed. We speculate that the proprietary ingredient that is in the oil is in this cleaner. Check out the first few pages of this thread you will see some emails from them.

At this point, buy it at O'Reilly's and get a free Microgard Select for a few dollars more... that is, until their prices increase.

I bought 3 FRAM Titanium filters yesterday for $4.xx each. Cartridge type for the ecoboost - all looked good, definitely variability between pleat widths, but with the mesh backing it will be okay. For sure will not run to 20K per what they are rated.

Was Advanced Clean going to be your forever oil?

I envy some of y'all's annual mileages.
