FIRST OFF LET ME SAY THAT I TALKED TO MY BROTHER IN LAW ON SUNDAY AND HE TOLD ME THAT A GUY WITH A 2005 MAZDA 6 4 CYLINDER (SAME AS MY CAR) CAME IN AND THE SAME EXACT THING HAD HAPPENED TO HIS MAZDA...AND HE HAD GOTTEN HIS OIL CHANGED AT MAZDA EVERYTIME!!! MAZDA DID COME OUT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND DIDN'T GIVE THE AUTHORIZATION TO TAKE APART THE ENGINE (WHICH WOULD OBVIOUSLY GET TO THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM RIGHT?) MAZDA JUST DOESNT WANT TO OWN UP TO IT. ON MONDAY I WILL TRY AND TALK TO A FACTORY REP I GUESS. AND IF THEY STILL WONT BUDGE THEN I GUESS...

i fixed the links in my second post. you can take a look if you want. the filter that was used was a PL5505 and i have no idea what oil they used. i guess i should ask my brother in law
