I think PQIA tested the Noack at 6.8 for Ravenol DXG. Just thought I would throw that out there since this thread is lacking in points of contention...

You think that's from a blue nitrile glove? How did it get past the oil inlet screen? And past the filter media?
A VERY VERY dirty...
1) Vehicle: Almost 15 year old Toyota(not picky oil-wise) with 250k miles(probably broken in by now). 2) Location: central MS, average low above freezing(33*F) in coldest month(Jan) and average high ~90*F for warmest three months(June, July, Aug). You want 10k for OCI and to use an easily...
And with your ambient temps in MS similar to mine you will be fine with 10w30. The above mentioned Toyota I bought new 11/'96 with 11 miles on the odometer. It has not seen anything lighter than 10w30 and many fills with HDEO(5w40 & 15w40). Runs great, uses no oil.

This, IMHO. My understanding is HDEO just lost the "S" exemption for higher zinc and phosphorus levels, the exemption expired. Or was that just 40 weights exempted?
Also you can find the other Rotella, T6, for closer...

Maximum. The Noack requirement set maximum allowable limits. If higher Noack numbers did help reduce IVD(or other deposits) then required Noack minimums would be understandable.
Oil is never fully removed in an oil change. OMs would list: dry fill, oil change w/filter and oil change or some such. So you have something like: 6 qts dry fill(new/rebuilt engine), 5 qts oil and filter change or 4.5 qts oil change only. I have never read a manufacturer state only one brand...

Ok.so I am 550 ml above max dipstick mark
So roughly 1/2 quart over with a five quart capacity. And your Accord uses oil? No, I would not...
As others have said, you will be fine using a full synthetic. I would not pay a premium for RP but would use a high mileage version of Mobil 1, Pennzoil, ect.(which ever synthetic is the best deal) in 5w-30 weight every 5k. Given the cars mileage also consider a coolant flush, transmission...
