Thats what it seems like from the various sources I've read. Taking price or Enviromental effects out of the equation is the LL 01 spec generally going to perform better due to not being limited by GPF cleanliness and Low/Mid SAP requirements?

Were you happy with the HPL Euro blend besides the price tag? I agree I'm sure BMW did there homework on this and it will do just fine especially if I'm changing it every 5K/6months. Interesting ... So are M models stuck with LL-01 FE oils? I just picked up a 2024 M3 CS and the manual still states BMW LL-01 FE oil at 0w30 which really doesn't give me many options. What would you recommend for the S58? Should I stick with the factory oil or switch to something like Redline...
