How much coolant does it consume. You could run water so there's no smoke and probably limp it around for years.

An update. Seems like shifts have gotten less detectable. The adaptive system might have lowered the pressure. Sucks.

This all seems like slander. How can ethanol cause an injector to die? That's an electrical coil dielectric issue. Any if injectors are gummed up, isn't it cheaper to run injector cleaner than take the engine apart?

Probably has broken ring lands. Do a compression check. If it checks same on all, i wouldn't worry as long as it's not smoking out the exhaust.
