Auto RX did slow down the oil consummation in my 4.6 SOHC but, it didn't stop it. I am sure its valve stem seals to balme. Cleaning the egr channels at the throttle body intake will help greatly with engine performance. Its a pain to get to them though. Also clean your MAF.

The only reason that I would stop using Toyota OEM filter is if I wanted to go with an oversized filter.

Several 1000 mile OICs did not bring my compresion back to factory spec. 1 treatment of Auto-RX did.
