Lubegard Fuel System Booster- Anyone Heard of it?

This looks like a possible contender to Redline S-1. At least on paper it does. Would like to see a MSDS to get a better picture.

    Black kidney grilles

I think the contrast of white and black make a good fit. Blacked out kidney grills on any other color look off to me. But as long as you are satisfied, that's all that matters.

Clear reflectors in, ambers out ....

Looks good, but I prefer amber reflectors. It's probably a subconscious type of deal for me. It's what my eyes pick up at night immediately - amber reflectors from bicycles, trailers, etc. Do these clear ones reflect light just as well at night? If they don't, well that defeats the purpose of a...

Kreen recommended, why not Chemtool B12?

Noise became less audible within the first 100 miles. Noise was completely gone by around 150-160+/- miles. Keep in mind this was a fairly clean engine, so your experience may vary from mine. I may continue a maintenance regimen every 15,000 miles to keep things in order, especially after...

Yep, 8 oz is a-okay. And I cant find Mag1 locally, so I get it from Amazon, when the price is right.

Kreen recommended, why not Chemtool B12?

Maximum sump capacity is 5.3 quarts; however, I use 5 quarts. That gets me a little bellow that full mark on the dipstick

Kreen recommended, why not Chemtool B12?

Quote: 6 ounces of Chemtool B12 was added into the crankcase for 500 miles to finish off a 4,500 mile OCI... Minor correction, since I can't edit that snip.

Kreen recommended, why not Chemtool B12?

Here we go! Let me tell you guys right off the bat -- it is challenging trying to take pictures while doing an oil change. I had to wipe down my gloves several dozen times so I wouldn't get too much oil on my smartphone. I must of looked silly wiping down my gloves several times and I hope...

    What's That Noice??

Sounds like a drivetrain noise. Depends on the car in question to guess what it may be.

Synthetic Universal ATF as Flush fluid.

Looks like you've done your homework, so go with your plan of attack. If it counts for anything, I've used Mag 1 oils quite extensively with excellent results. Running their conventional oil in my fleet vehicles and their differential oils in a company truck. No complaints from me.

Kreen recommended, why not Chemtool B12?

^Kept it for 500 miles, as originally planned. I didn't rack up the miles as fast as some of you guys do, due to it being city miles and because school is winding down for me, so the car got driven less and less as time elapsed. Car has sat for a couple of days now, but it being the weekend I...

Synthetic Universal ATF as Flush fluid.

I would. It has the proper specs. and quite frankly, Mag 1 is a good sleeper oil. Could even use something cheaper if it's for just a drain and fill for a couple of hundred mile, like Supertech, if that's an option. Though with Supertech, I'm not sure what certifications it has. Otherwise, Mag 1...
