    Its cork vs rubber. Newer seals should use the PUP and older cork seals should use the Pennzoil Platinum High Mileage. It was Lake Speed that thought the PUP uses borate esters that may be used as seal conditioners IAW quick internet search.

    Right, marketing. PUP has esters for seal conditioners and a 750k warranty program but won't label it HM because their Pennzoil Platinum High Mileage sales would decline.
