the only comes in my mind is more profit for HONDA, because from air cooled CB125 to CBR1000RR SP, the same suggestion in manuals “API SJ or higher 10W30 MA” Doesn’t make sense for the CBR that revs 14.000rpm to use same oil with the CB125.

For 16-18€ per 1 litre HONDA sell it is inaccurate price, for what offers. Many thanks

I think he want to use this, if thread starter have an update please inform us. 5W40 is a bit thick on KV 40/100 , 84/13.8 and HTHS says 3.5 Don’t know if such tests as the follow video prove something for the quality of the oil.

In Germany synthetic = PAO ex Motul 7100 everywhere says 100% synthetic, but in Germany says synthetic technology (not 100%) and actually the phrase word “ester” is for joke I

Motor oil tests like this are to take them serious or real life in engine not such stress ? This guy here in video shows that Honda oil to fail quite fast

I check what you suggest as brand. With SHELL HELIX ULTRA 5W40 I am ok ??? I see that is on low side of the 40W on cSt at 100C 12.8 (a bit above 12.5 for thick 30W range) And according to specs should be HTHS 3.5 or higher Is GTL oil and for 4Lt cost 45€ (approximately 52$)
