FWIW there are a few videos from mobils facilities where they show that they do test these mileage claims in 3 different engines from a chevy truck v8 to tgdi engines.
Im even more suprised that delvac 1 esp only did 47.9 minutes.
Also its clear than the ESP line while it elementally looks the same, these are all different formulas and the revision numbers on the back of the ESP bottles are all different between esp x2, esp 0w-30, esp x3, esp x4, c40-gt
This is the new group III project that they are expanding on in baytown for 2028. My guess is they have had some capacity as this is listed as an 8000bpd expansion. I think they broke ground on the expansion in 2023.

I wish he would start with the 5w-40 and work down to the ACdelco 0w-20. If the wear trend was the same you would know its breaking in rather than the viscosity
Alrite so, I was finally able to nail down what they are reformulating with. Its not group II+ it is group III. Its XOMs new group III ALTUM. I traced the cas# that provided in the SDS for ALTUM and it lines up with whats listed in advanced clean, truck and SUV, AFE, and now FS 0w-40 has also...
His additive analysis is always wildly off from what we see from other labs. I had esp x2 analyzed by wearcheck and the values i got are what was expected. His are off across the board.
I did that to except with the SN FS 0w-40 lol. I bought like 18 gallons and then i was sold on HPL supercar. Going back to my FS stash soon because its just to good to let go to waste
