suredrive all season?? any good? they are cheap

They won't be cheap tires after you lose traction and crash. Like buying the cheapst shoes you can find, then slip and break something.

    Kitchen Sink Gauge Thickness

I just replaced my 1957 vintage stainless dual sink. I don't know how thick it was, but you couldn't dent it if you tried. I had a new deeper one installed and ran into the drain line problem of being too high. They used to use double sinks before dishwashers to wash in one and rinse in the...

    Blow molded case replacement clasps

I just use a strip of Gorrila tape with the end folded back to make it easy to release. If it loses its stick after a while I just put on a new piece.

Buying a ROKU streaming device: beware of this

Most people probably have a drawer full of them anymore and many just get thrown away.

Any street tire offer better dry traction than Michelin Pilot Sport 4S ?

Only thing I don't like on the new Conti 02's I just bought is there isn't much for curb protection, since they are going on my wife's Camry. It also makes the tire look narrower.

    Leak finding tips

Some small pinhole leaks from 22 years' experience fixing hundreds of leaky tires only showed up at low pressure like 5psi. At high pressure the air can shoot through a small hole at a higher velocity and not make a bubble at all. It's like blowing kids bubbles, if you blow too hard you get nothing.

Any street tire offer better dry traction than Michelin Pilot Sport 4S ?

I even bought a set of the 235/45-18 Continental sport 2's for my 2019 Camry just for fun to see what they would do compared to what most people would run on a normal car. I love sticky tires and run 275/40-19 Nitto NT-05's with 200 TW front/rear on my 1955 Chevy.

Europe to Automakers: Buttons and knobs are safer than touchscreens

I completely agree. It used to be you could get in any car and figure everything out in seconds instead of spending minutes trying to figure anything out like even trying to open the door from inside with a dead battery that has killed people. And make the owner's manual only available on the...

A PSA About those tire TINS and date codes: Installers, It's Dates Out, for ALL tires.

Here are my Blizzak WS90 directional snow tires dated 2319. The date code is outside on the pass side, and inside on the driver's side. So, whatever you are trying to prove makes no common sense to me. So now what???

    Michelin CrossClimate2 Tires

I don't know, but from the tire track it sure looks like it's on backwards. That would help with braking maybe but would hydroplane easy I would think.

A PSA About those tire TINS and date codes: Installers, It's Dates Out, for ALL tires.

What about directional tires? You would need to run 2 of them backwards to have the date code outside. I've been a tire installer for 22 years and both sides should be labeled if it was required to be visible. Most people don't have a clue on how to check it anyway.

How do you prevent dew inside your garage?

I found out the hard way not to put a cover over my 1950 1.5-ton Chevy fire truck with 2600 original miles in a crowded warehouse that is kept above freezing. The one time I did, in the spring every unpainted surface had rust on it, and the clutch disc had rusted stuck to the flywheel. It's been...

How do you prevent dew inside your garage?

A dehumidifier can easily take a gallon of water out of the air everyday which I don't think damp rid could do day after day without adding up to a lot of money.
