I have the '07 version of this engine and have been using M1 0w-40 FS since I got it in '13. UOA's have been great (haven't done one in a while due to life events), so it's what I'd recommend.

About 5-6 years ago I tried to set up Zelle to go through a debit card. Didn't have one so I signed up and they gave me the card right there in the bank. They have a machine to do that, I guess. I took the card straight home and put it in a drawer as I was not going to use it for anything...

Fellow Zonie here. I use M1 5w-30 (regular flavor) which has the Ford spec in the 5.0 GT. I've had a couple UOAs done with no issues.

Busy morning: mowed the lawn before the heat set in, filled the gas can for the mower, grocery shopping, gas for the 4R, picked up some vitamins, just finished the laundry. Still have a little cleaning to do, have lunch, and then see what's on TV/relax...unless something else pops up.

Update: Just used it for the second time yesterday and didn't blow off all the water ahead of time. That dried the car too quickly and started leaving water spots. Just drove the car into the shade after the rinse and started drying. Still: WOW! I can dry the car in ~75% less time and it...

I've done this a couple times in the 4Runner with the 4.7. M1 0w40 no issues. Once, Blackstone said I could run in even longer, but I figured 2 years was a good change point.
