I do agree that there is a benefit of actually seeing what you are putting in and also easy inspection of what comes out after oil change. You can also test easily if bypass spring still works

The PG is 99% @ 25u and they provide ISO test, mobil1 has no mention of how they measured it. PG seems a better buy than mobil1. Not sure why its only rated for 10k miles? Not that it matters to me because I never go more than 10k on same filter…

Mobil1 has nothing to do with this filter, but I am sure we are paying some money for their name being on the filter.

until Fram Endurance fixes bypass leak issue, its not worth the money. So PG has better micron rating than latest Mobil1 ? If that is the case, its a better buy since they cost about the same

You can purchase enough Kirkland when it goes on sales to last you or your family for a year. Cant beat $15 for 5qt when its on sale. Maybe if you get Mobil1 with rebate it will also be $15
