0w20 oils are not all FULL SYNTHETIC. Kendall for one makes a 0w20 blend which is what Honda oil is. Made by Conoco phillips.
Any car that specs a 5w20 can use a 0w20 which is pretty much the same price for either oil.
I'd just buy 0w20 and use in both cars!!
For longer drains and by being a preferred customer I feel better about using it. If you're not doing over 10k intervals it's prob not worth the extra cost. The specialty oils for small engines etc I do think it's worth using
I have a 2010 camry 2.5l. I used a 0w30 and had higher oil consumption. No change in noticeable fuel economy. I've had 3 UOA done with smsoil 0w20 with the last being 11,800 miles on oil and very low wear metals. Use a 0w20 with confidence. No need to use any 30wt unless the car starts using or...
countless UOA on camrys with 0w20 and no wear problems including mine which was 11,800 miles on my last one. I used 0w30 once but it used more oil so I went back to 0w20
I've used a 0w30 in my 2010 camry but the noise was still there. I've had 3 oil analysis done now with 75k on car and very low wear metals showed up. Use s 0w20 with confidence.
For 6-8k whatever oil is on sale. I do mainly mixed driving in my 2010 camry and I do 10-12k with Amsoil Signature. My pick would be Pennzoil or Toyota whichever cheaper. For that low of an oil change interval any of them is fine tho
