I think that there's a reason AMSOIL never talks about base oils. If we don't know what they use, then they can make changes without anyone noticing, but I doubt AMSOIL would ever compromise on their SS line.

I don't think everyone does. Just Valvoline, and Mobil has a "me too" product with no proof it works. I suspect if AMSOIL ever releases one, it will be the real deal. No half measures with AMSOIL, in my observed experience any way. No one ever thought they'd release a synthetic blend either.

What OCI? Any issues? Burning any oil? I feel like the best application for a boutique is early on in a car's life. How many miles are you shooting for?

OE is synthetic too. I think the first blend they offered is the new synthetic blend.

I wouldn't buy it and would just keep my money. Good for a wallet flush though.

No doubt AMSOIL will run clean, but I'm not sure it's cleaning piston rings.

VRP will clean up anything left behind by the Supertech, and your engine is going to be spotless and run forever. (y)

I used the 75W-90 MT fluid, and I've been really happy with it. Shifts so smoothly.
