Liqui Moly Top Tec 5w-30: 5,127 OCI, '18A4

Thank you! Very informative. TAN almost twice higher than TBN for just 5k miles, where 70% is highway driving. I would not use this oil longer than you did, may be even dump it after 4.5k. Definitely not a long run oil. P.S. I am still insisting that UOA without TAN useless. Pure illustration...

The TAN value does not look right for me. I would ask to retest it. I don't believe that even initial TAN is 0.25.

Liqui Moly LongTime High Tech 5W30: high TAN

Update. Sample has been retested twice and new values of TAN were 3.9 and 4.1, which is much more reasonable, IMO. Thanks everybody!

Liqui Moly LongTime High Tech 5W30: high TAN

Hi guys! This is a UOA of my 2013 Camry V6. Please, pay attention on highest TAN value, being honest, I've never seen anything similar. In this case OCI was 6700 miles, that includes 4800 miles of pure highway driving to/from Canada. Oil has been bought on Amazon and changed by myself. Whole...

Guys, the oil usage interval is 12k km, so this is about 7500 miles. Gubkin, I was your neighbour, 400 km to the west from Samara, you know the city there. So I would decrease the oil usage interval to 8000 km in any case. Next time I would recommend to pay a little bit extra and find out what...

Turanza Serenity Plus vs Cinturato P7 Plus vs Premier

Hi guys! Need to change tires on my 2013 Camry V6. Currently I have Conti DWS 06, which are fine, but too harsh and too noisy, IMO. It became almost impossible to listen radio cruising on highways now. So I am choosing between Serenity Plus, P7 Plus Cinturato and Michelin Premier. Tire size is...
