Walmart is carrying a new 'Euro oil' and it's currently on sale

Letters of conformity list if you want to check US oils. Warren is on the list. https://www.sail-europe.eu/registrations/lubricant-marketers

Walmart is carrying a new 'Euro oil' and it's currently on sale

Below is the only place I see any claims of approval. And that is by Walmart AI. Not anywhere else. But yeah Triax are not on the ACEA LOC list. Assumed they would be.

    5W-30 to 0W-20?

Polish manual. So xW20 in hot climate probably not the best idea. How much 0W20 do you have? I vote for frankenbrew time.

That is how it is done here for many DIYers. Cheap relabeled oil that does not exist on any approval list is not uncommon if you go buy in you local general hardware store. Seeing as you oil is quite cheap already the price difference is just lower. Just as example:

    Mobil 1 European 0w-40 and 5w-40 VOA

505.00 & 505.01 is totally irrelevant. Your Valvoline Euro XL-III does not have either of those specs. Start a new thread with a more clear question maybe? https://sharena21.springcm.com/Public/Document/18452/9568d714-6788-e911-9c22-ac162d889bd1/60ae2c8d-759c-e911-9c25-ac162d889bd1

Does not look that bad in my eyes, sure they are liberal with the spec sheet. Looks like they add the specs that the newer specs are supposed to supersede. For sure we don't know if it is good oil, but not bad either. See it as cheap C3 oil and use accordingly ...

Just put a new tire on , now going for the other 3 (advice)

At least get the same green max tire for that axle if you want to go the cheap route. Then put something decent on the other axle.

    CrossClimate 3 Tire Release?

Crossclimate 2 EU Crossclimate 2 NA 60.000miles warranty ? Crossclimate 3 You tell me if you think they would have a successful release of CC3 in north america with ~20k less threadlife.

    CrossClimate 3 Tire Release?

Well CC2 North America and CC2 Europe is not the same tyre. CC3 would have much less milage. They don't want to release a worse version in NA. The markets have different competing performance characteristics. Jon explains it better then I can...

    Mobil 1 European 0w-40 and 5w-40 VOA

Well in that case you don't have a procurement cost. I know to little about VW DPFs, but unless you have oil consumption I assume it would not clog your DPF. If you do enough long trips the DPF should clear itself out properly regardless. Keep track of soot/backpressure and how often it...

    Mobil 1 European 0w-40 and 5w-40 VOA

No not really, older Volvo used full saps in the D5 engine (among others) with DPF. So it is doable, just not usual approach with DPF. Mobil 1 ESP 0w30 would be the obvious recommendation.

Recommend an Xw40 equivalent to Valvoline Restore and Protect

What would it cost to import a couple gallons from Australia? Contra HPL/Amsoil? I have seen a few on reddit that have imported 5W30 to Europe.

0W20 Choice for 2015 Tacoma Quaker state Full synthetic (regular formula)

Probably because it is mostly marketing? Not even a thing outside U.S / North America. Lack of a clear definition of what a High Mileage oil is would be another approach.

    ACEA C3 5W-40 Brands?

You are saying the Exxon Mobil 1 ESP in 5QT and Nascar logo on the bottle has imported base oil? Would be shocked if that was the case. On another note, The JLR STJLR.03.5005 spec wich is also used for the TDV6 allows for 2.9hths oils so I would think 3.5 is enough even in Texas.

Mobil 1 ESP 0w30: What about LPSI Protection?

Sure, unlock the converter, pull down the boost all the way, limit Nm (cyl pressure) under X rpm in the ECU (less fuel), kickdown when needed etc. Enough to get down to NA power levels. Probably not the greatest way to do it, just doable (according to Knappattack). And I don't see why it would...
