Why don't you just drive it or take it to the shop, ask them to re-do it and tell tem why and what happened. Im willing to bet that they'll have no issue in doing that for you. Sometimes people hear things better after they've just had work done, even though the noise has been there all along...
I exchanged my tranny fluid about a month ago with our machine at work. 05 Tacomma called for WS, but after much research and discussion from this site and other Toyota sites I went with Dex VI instead. So I figured I would update, and now 2,000 miles later everything is still good.

Thanks for the help fellas. Got it done today used an ATF exchanger via the cooler lines. Used Valvoline Dex IV. So far, so good. It cost the best price of all, Free.
Thanks for the help guys. The reason I asked about Maxlife is that I work for a division of Valvoline, and work with/for them. Max Atf is good stuff, but was just curious as to what you guys have experienced with other fluids other than WS. Like I originally said- I have cheap access to Max ATF...
