So when you change the oil do you elevate the front? You may have a head gasket leak , that's dependant on the angle. I've seen it before when people park on inclines...blow a bunch of white smoke then it's fine. Do a compression check

See how much OEM hoses are, they may be fairly cheap. Usually they are much thicker than aftermarket hoses.
