Why does Shell SYN. cost alot LESS??

I'd like to see the PP UOA, I just switched to PP mainly because this site talks that PP is ok compared to M1, and M1 is off the shelves here where I live.

    Tires causing bumpy ride quality?

Good to hear. For me, I think you'd only notice the Ujoint (or CV, explain later) on acceleration or deceleration of the shaft, where there would then be slop in there. My 1986 Bronco II I had, used CV joints exclusively for the drive shaft, where as my mom's 1984 Bronco and you know similar...

    Tires causing bumpy ride quality?

Does it seem to be one tire, all tires, I didn't take the time to read every word, probably should huh? Ply separation could be a cause for the vibration as well. As the wheel speeds around heading toward the pavement, it being separated would slap against the ground, and possibly that area...

    Mobil 1 or Pennzoil Platinum???

Found out what happened to the plane across the hangar, the alternator ceased, sheared totally inside, but it didn't shear on the shaft as well, most designs are, it sheared totally into the teeth and spread junk everywhere in the engine.

looked at new dodge challenger v6

The 2.7 v6 in my car calls for 5w-20 for my 2005 Stratus, just for reference. Now I'll be on a search to see what the different Dodge V6 engine requires for oil.

    For Tom NJ, MIL Spec

I am curious, from the other thread that I have posted up about aviation probably all together in the wrong thread. But after I was searching around, I found MIL-L and MIL-PRF used, they seemed to be portrayed to be synonymous but I am not sure that they are since they are specifications. Is...

    Mobil 1 or Pennzoil Platinum???

Yeah, that's right, which reminds me of when I was at school. Not that this is just industry related, I am sure there are individuals and instructors across the board that have the learning curve disability or even teaching disability since they are instructors and that is their job. We were...

    Mobil 1 or Pennzoil Platinum???

Thanks for the input Bill, I probably haven't been in the industry as long as you, but I have seen some interesting things thus far. Not to stray from the subject, but across the hangar, there is a plane that they opened up something towards the rear of the engine. The engine failed in flight...
