Need grease that's safe to be around gear oil

I think I'll give that a try with the wheel bearing grease. The whole problem here again is that there isn't much splash lubrication getting to these bearings. So the little bit of grease that I'm going to put on them probably isn't going to get much oil trying to wash it away, and if it does...

Need grease that's safe to be around gear oil

Different bearings aren't an option, they aren't a standard size. The car gets driven a couple times a week. There just isn't much oil getting to these hence the want for grease for them.

Need grease that's safe to be around gear oil

I don't want assembly grease though, I want something that will continuously provide lubrication to these parts because they are not being sufficiently lubricated otherwise.

Need grease that's safe to be around gear oil

I'm replacing some bearings in the transmission of my car (Porsche 928) that got ruined from moisture and lack of lubrication. They're needle bearings that ride between the input and main/output shaft of the transmission. There isn't much splash lubrication getting to these due to their...

    Castrol GTX HM 10w30 +STP/3,300mi/99 Durango 5.2

Still used STP. I think only 3/4 of a bottle though. Used the other 1/4 bottle on something else. Still using the same k&n air filter too.

Not sure if putting this in the old thread is the thing to do or not, so mods can move this if they want. Anyway had another oil analysis done recently. Oil had been in the car for almost 6 months this time, so it got changed a bit sooner. Used Valvoline 10w30 high mileage this time along with...

    Dodge Durango = Sludge Engine

As another member from the DOC I can confirm that there's no problem with sludge in any of these motors (4.7, 5.2, or 5.9). The only time sludge ever even gets mentioned is when someone new joins and asks about what all these misinformed [censored] clowns on the internet, claiming sludge, are...

I think my engine likes the thicker oil too. I have right under 40lbs of pressure at idle and right under 60 or so at cruising speed.
