Cabin filter restricting air flow replaced.

Regular inspection/ changes of cheap filter maybe sufficient for you vs previous owner maybe had allergies that the HEPA benefitted him. YES, even NEW HEPA will have Much more restriction than cheaper filters, and more expensive non-hepa likely Better than cheap; YOU will have to find what...

Idiots that drive with hitch balls attached…

That does look easily repairable= cheaper than replacements? Call a few shops and ask if you can send a PIC that they can estimate from? Recommend no less than x3 quotes.

Carquest Extended Protection P84502 used oil filter cut open in service 14.5k miles

The REAL TEST of a filter is the grit that got past the filter and was later in the valve train, engine bearings, and found under VC or sump? I never used any special oil, no high $$ filters= just name brand cheaper/ cheapest oil/ filters usually. At 140,000 mile, 2005/ 3.8 T&C Van I changed...

ODB readers: Which would you go for?

You can buy code readers from $20-$3000, and the cheaper may not be able to give transmission codes or $$ depends on something else the DIY will not use? Often a lot of the $$ depends on how much vehicle-specific info stored inside? However, I find the $20 and $60 meets MY needs, and Google is...

looking for 20w50 with cat friendly ZDDP

Have been researching, as at 77-yo, I have NEVER...

    133k Clean Oil Pan

FYI, FWIIW, at 133k/ 18-19yo on my 2005 Chrysler T&C 3.8, I pulled oil pan and VC gaskets due to leaks. Amazing was the oil pan with zero grit/ zero sludge, where I expected at least a small amount, I found zero, running my fingertips thru the oil pan residue. Vehicle history has been various...

    I've got a plumbing problem

You can have copper pipes, but on mine some years back, someone installed galvanized nipples out of wall to stop valves and the galvanized nipple clogs w/ rust pretty quick; cure was to convert nipples to chromed brass. Maybe you have similar issue?

    Low transmission fluid question 4r100

If trans has oil cooler in front of radiator, start there? Replaced my old hoses (1999 in 2017) that were getting stiff when I found leak, but believe leak may have been a loose screw clamp. Ended with two narrow screw clamps at every hose end for safety.
