What dash cleaner/protectant won't fog windshield?

Optiseal is the best internal dressing that I have found. Doesn't haze the windshield and seals surfaces.

    Engine bay detail

I've had good luck with 303 on the engine parts. It's very slick so dirt doesn't adhere, and the engine can be cleaned with just a strong solution of car soap (Gold Class @ 32:1)and a hose. Didn't even have to reapply the 303 after a year. APC or stronger cleaners will remove it.

    Best spray wax?

Optimum car wax or optiseal. Both can be used as drying aids. Meguiar's sealants attract a lot of dust in my experience... Including D156. It's great for interiors or around the house. Still prefer optiseal.

    Miter Saw Purchase

Consider something like this: I don't have one but if I were to start over with woodworking, I would. Much safer and versatile than most other setups. A professional carpenter at my job cut his hand pretty bad with a miter saw not that long ago. These are quite dangerous so be careful with...

    Same Question - Different Day

Most sealants use mineral spirits and other solvents that will degrade the wax under the sealant. Sealant first, let cure, then a wax.

    Touchless washes bad for paint?

The detail shop here has a product that can be used in a touchless car wash. It is essentially a water based degreaser. I won't be putting my car through one of those.

    Quick Detailer

For an OTC detailer, I would use 303 Speed Detailer. Very good product, better than UQD, and cheaper on Amazon. Any retail product will be expensive, though. Would recommend getting a waterless wash concentrate and diluting accordingly. Meguiars D115 is probably the best out there, but is...

    slide glide?

It was developed..or at least sold..as a very stringy grease to slow down the slide of automatic pistols, so as to reduce felt recoil. This could theoretically work, but is ill advised on anything other than a racegun on a range, under ideal conditions. Slowing the slide reduces the reliability...

Electrical prices and renewable energy in the USA

Quote: "Altogether about 75% of power revenue increase will go toward meeting power related mandates — but that includes a number of legislated requirements in addition to renewables and eliminating coal," Tucker said. And: Quote: But at times, as much as 50% of Southern California's...
