I found it interesting that Eric on YouTube "I do cars" recently tore down an Audi DI 3.0 turbo. The inside of the engine looked pristine, except for the oil control rings. These cars are typically run on ACEA C2 - VW 504/507 approved oils which is why it probably looked so clean inside overall...
