I thought the cylinders moved around too much because it's an open deck causing the gasket to fail prematurely?

If you were in the US , I'd say Supertech TCW-3 is an option . There's also a name brand one (I think Pennzoil?) for nearly the same price.

I've had the heads off the original engine from my Grand Marquis in my shed in super humid central NY for 3 years and there's no pitting on the cams.

Sooo ... stock for stock, our 2019 Sentra with a NA 1.8L and CVT was quicker than my 4.6L v8 Grand Marquis 0-60. Now that I've swapped out the rear axle in the Marquis, I think it can finally do 0-60 in under 13 seconds and beats the Sentra.

Thankfully nothing of mine has retracting calipers or threaded pistons. So I just use a c clamp.

Apparently it was staged. The Kia hit a chevy truck head on that was turning infront of it. The people with the newyorker just baacked up to it.

I think the big mopars back then were Unibody. Chrysler was an early adopter to unibody.
