Want to hear from turbo owners that go 10k + oci

I'm curious about extending oci's in a few vehicles. I change the oil for our familys cars plus a couple more. 4 are port injected 2 are gdi turbo. I think Ive had enough of the feel good factor (using full synthetic and 5k oci) I would like to hear from some members that go 10k or more. Please...

    Mobil 1 5w40 TDT 3 vehicles

Thanks, I'm only doing 5K oci on the Regal turbo. This thing has a weird blurb in the owners manual. I'm paraphrasing but it says: Oil capacity is 5.5 qts with filter however if you plan on autocross or racing the vehicle adding an extra quart is recommended. 6.5 qts apparently is fine.

Thanks, I'm more worried about the Regal with the 2.0 Turbo. I don't want to damage any emission controls.

    Mobil 1 5w40 TDT 3 vehicles

Greetings, I picked up 9 gallons of this stuff when autozone was closing it out for around $12.00 per gallon. Anyway, I'm wondering which vehicles it can be safely used in. I'm a little bit worried about the phosphorous levels (poss doing . Damage to cat Convt.) the 3 vehicles: 1. 2002 suburban...

    Pennzoil ultra noak

I mentioned the TEOST test in my last post. Would you care to recommend an oil or two ? Needs to be dexos approved 5w-30 for a 2014 Buick 2.0T LTG. Thanks

Ford 6F35: What have we learned?

I've never understood why these ford 6f35 transmissions seem to be far more problematic than the gm 6t70 I believe. I thought they ( gm and ford ) co-developed these transmissions. Our 2007 Saturn made it 136k not great but not bad either. The performance was solid as we'll. Did ford take a few...

    Pennzoil ultra noak

I ran pennzoil platinum 10w-30 ( not ultra ) for years in my wife's 07 Saturn 3.6. Trans grenaded at 136k but the engine was purring along just fine. ( Colorado winters included ) After reading here, I decided to switch to 5w-30 for the quicker flow at startup. Now per dexos I can't run a 10w-30...

    Pennzoil ultra noak

Hello, I've missed a good bit of info from this site over the past 14 mo or so. I purchased a new turbo charged vehicle and wanted to use penn ultra ( usual reasons low noak. Full syn for the extra heat etc. ) checked the noak specs at pennzoil's site. 5w-30: 11.5 10w-30: 5.7 this must be the...
