Probably water sitting on the bottom, very common. Pull the bowl off and see what you find. If the main jet is incorporated into the bowl nut, that may be clogged also. In my experience debris from the tank is held back by the micro screen filter and never reaches the carb. It's water reacting...

The primer stops working when the plastic warps and the little air channel doesn't seal. I fix them by putting some RTV on the plate side of the gasket.

My local dealer has posters up warning not to use ultra HP in Echo products, apparently it was causing engine damage. I have no use for the stuff. Red armor works very well for me. No carbon buildup and all my equipment starts right up after sitting in the shed all winter.
