Do those euro oils have reduced Ca? Thats what’s stopping me from switching to a euro from my current dexos oils

Who’s making the best 5w30 these days?

Amsoil SS. Probably be $100 a year on top shelf oil. Your car will thank you.

Any dexos gen 2 5w30 will do. I go back and forth between quaker state (cheap at walmart) and kirkland signature.

coming from a lowered fiesta st, this oil change is quite literally enjoyable and i look forward to doing it. filter is indeed in a good spot. god dam, if you arent very intent on throttle input after driving away in the morning, the transmission will hang and bang. i can avoid the hang and...

im enjoying my truck so far. 27xxx miles. oil changes every 5000 miles. plenty of power and good mpg, although the big tires tanked that lol. transmission could be better at low speeds when cold.

Lacked power rough running when cold wrx

When i owned two jdm subarus, gf8 and a b4 rsk, they would definitely not drive as intended when i just got in it and drove away in cold weather. They didnt seem to want to boost as normal, ie the throttle input snd power delivery was vastly different in a cold engine. Once everything was warmed...

Nice. Mine was a dedicated canyon car. Once i put in the lsd i couldnt justify the tripl8’s, it stuck real well.

I ended up with Jason/dizzy and he did a great job on my protunes. Not bad for being across the continental united states.

He most likely uses an accesport as well, and you can observe the Octane Adjust Ratio. Once the ratio has hit -1.0 after a fill up from regular 91, your good to go and boost away. Accesport is super handy if you know what to watch for

I see no need to switch to a xw40 if your using a solid oil like HPL. For reference i ran Amsoil SS 5w40 in my 360 ish hp fiesta on e50, with 3000 mile OCI’s. Was a weekend car, and when i drove the fiesta it was 10/10ths all the time.
