    BMW Longlife Specs... (LL01, LL04, LL19FE; N52 and B48)

No it didn’t have Ivd issues but for sure pcv issues, seen like 4-5 car just by my own eyes have milkshake under the oil cap. Also I take Ivd means intake valve deposits. It’s known that m54s have bad pvc, at least here in Sweden. If you buy a E46 it’s the first thing you replace before the...

just like none cares about your own engine that seem to work. Most BMW die by BMW own design.

The m54 isnt from the 40s, the comment said that BMW has good pcv systems, which they have proven they don’t, maybe the b58 is good but who knows.

the m54 did not have a good PCV system. Here everyone have had to replace the whole thing to not have a milkshake under the oil fill cap.

Shell Rotella T5 Diesel Oil - OK In Gasoline Engine?

It’s a v6 dodge. The engine most likely dates back to the ‘60. I use it in that kind of engine.

    Are winter tires "worth it"?

A Subaru doesn’t stop faster than any other car in the winter. Real nice to not drive over a family of 4 due to wrong tires

Can you even imagine doing this in the winter?

Very common here in Sweden to have power outlets for that here too and it never gets that cold here. Just nice to have a warm car to sit in. Also not having to scrape the windows is nice.

    Are winter tires "worth it"?

Does north Texas even get snow? Defenders are considered summer tires here so idk how they would help with winter conditions.

    Are winter tires "worth it"?

this is what people seem to forget, winters tires are for safety not getting away. Stopping and actually turning is much more important than getting away. This is something awd owners think awd helps with too for some reason. Best is having real winter tires and awd. Nokian studded or equivalent.

Looking for snow wheels for my Kia Niro EV

If you can use studded tires just get Nokians, if you cant get Nokians. Never get all seasons. Just use two sets of wheels. one for summer and other for the winter.

    Are winter tires "worth it"?

if my tires would show any struggle going up that, I would actually never drive with them anymore. I think summer tires would be better than whatever your son had on. Googled the tires and they are considred summer tires here so i understand why they struggled.
