I noticed on one of the old Valvoline logos it said Pennsylvania Crude... So why hasn't Valvoline ever gotten the sludge rumor if they used to get their oil from Pennsylvania?

Isn't Pennzoils guarantee more attractive given the fact the warrenty applies to their conventional? With Valvoline the 300k warrenty only applies to their syn. no?
