Does the 051 base/threads match the 057 then?

The 057 filter used to be spec'ed for my Toyota V8's AND for my 2007 Jeep Wrangler. Now that the 057 filter is not offered, the Toyotas spec only the WIX, while the Jeep now calls for the 051. Why not the WIX for the Jeep too? Why not the 051 for the Toyotas? Just trying to buy a common filter...
