    Mazda skyactiv specific oil filters

I’ve got a 2014 mazda3 and it’s still going strong, the best filters I’ve found for the money were the OEM ones AND if you buy bulk you can ask the stealership for the mechanic discount. Roki filters are very well built. Otherwise I stick to Fram ultras XG6607 As of recent for penny pinching I...

    Decent air inflator

I’ve been pretty happy with my Ryobi air inflator but I’d stick to whatever brand of tools you’ve got cordless tools Otherwise I’ve been a fan of the Costco 12v air inflators as you can take it back if anything goes wrong

    DeWalt - rip off

The DCD791 is made in USA with “global parts” I think it’s just Dewalt not standing behind their product Though that drill is only for DIY projects

    DeWalt - rip off

I’ve heard of these stores before, I stick to ridgid for a free lifetime service agreement or Ryobi so I’d just buy a new one given how cheap they’re

Mazda 1WPE-14-302 Thailand OCI 8k KM

It had the Mazda filter and Castrol 0w20 This time: Napa filter NSF 27002 and Motomaster full synthetic 0w20 It’s a jobber filter but I found it works quite well on my summer runs and it’s the cheapest filter I could find that has decent quality

Mazda 1WPE-14-302 Thailand OCI 8k KM

Not much to see, other than the great quality of these filters, ran it for the winter season 8000 KM OCI 8 months.

    Napa Proselect 27002 8000km

No tears, just bad glueing. I’d say it did pretty good for what I paid

Fram TG6607 C&P Pushed to the limit

I couldn't fit it in mine since it would block the access to the drain bolt

    [Cut Open] Wix 57002 - 7,084 Miles

That's what I referred to earlier! Looks very good I may even end up skipping on the ultras since they've become so expensive

    C/O Tokyo Roki 6000km BT115010-7600

I'm going to be using the Wix/Napa filter you're talking about. I'll post that C/O as well sometime in the fall I didn't road trip due to covid but now I'll likely be clicking more mileage NAPA NSF 27002 or Wix 57002

Did you cut anymore of them?

What is the story on K&N oil filters today?

Not sure what it is today but they used to be made poorly 3 years ago. Glued pieces and poorly constructed
