Pretty sure I will run some 0W-40 in my 2019 Limited F-150n(3.5 H.O)! I have heard some great things about it--Im at 8K at the moment!

Is the Pennzoil ULTRA plat still hard to find for you guys, I can never find the stuff??

Seems like the BMW oil is no slouch in the protection department--I may run that oil in my GX470 as well then, since I can get it at cost thru my BMW dealer:)

BMW recommends yearly oil changes in all their cars, using their BMW synthetic oil and filter. Has anyone used the BMW oil in their car/truck and had it checked at the year mark to see how it holds up?

Sell it as is then? Valve cover gaskets are done--no 2 ways around it

I was thinking the same thing as I was going to try this oil in my new Toyota SUV V-8? I usually run Amsoil 0W-20 Sig Series oil for 1 year intervals (about 10-12K) and Its known for extended and yearly oil changes by them, BUT no where does it say that on the Penz Plat web site and they dont...

Ok just curious! I just bought A Lexus GX470 with the same V-8 and I was wondering what to use for the oil change. I had a 99 4Runner V-6 and all it got was 0W-30 Series 3000 amsoil, so Ill guess I will stay with that or the PP. I like my Yearly oil changes though

Does Amsoil make a Group V oil?

Paul-- I believe its a 72 bug, they rebuilt the engine totally, The builder told him to run a oil with extra Zinc for the cams?

My dad has had his VW engine rebuilt and its not running as of yet, but the guy putting it together suggested that he run a oil with Zinc in because of the Cam lobes? Anyway what is a good oil with Zinc in it to satisfy the cam lobes?

Yea thse shows are no joke out there in that rough cold, icy sea!! You could never pay me enough to do that work although the pay is HIGH for a few mmonths work
