I guess you would not be interested in what many consider the best oil, Amsoil Signature Series, regardless of the price, because it has no "star".

I got them off the Mobil 1 site about the time Advanced Clean first came out and was only sold at AAP. Since then I know the PDS sheets no longer carry the VIs.

All 30 oils but here is the cSt values along with viscosity index of the three. Valvoline Restore and Protect 5W30 - 10.8 @ 100 C and 161 VI, Mobil 1 Advanced Clean 5W30 - 10.1 @ 100 C and 172 VI, Mobil 1 ESP 0W30 - 12.0 @ 100 C and 180 VI.

I use Mobil 1 ESP 0W30 because it is on the high side of the 30 range, 12.0 cSt at 100 C.

Yeah but which Chevron Techron? Best of that brand is the 20 oz. bottle labeled Chevron Techron Concentrate Plus.

Regardless, it one hell of a base oil. A mix of GTL, PAO, with a dash of Alkylated Napthalene. The MOG has said many times that AN is a good engine cleaner.

It's the base oil baby. According to the SDS, it is mostly GTL and PAO.

And in a later video he included T&SUV in a contest with AMSOIL Signature Series, Pennzoil Ultra Platinum, Red Line, Driven, and other top oils. He did not choose Mobil 1 Extended Performance to represent Mobil 1.

If you are going to report what Lake Sprrd Jr. said, the MOG, then get it correct. He compared Quaker State Full Synthetic against Pennzoil Platinum, not the Pennzoil Full Synthetic.

Yeah, the Pennzoil Full Synthetic also has no GTL.

Cut open a Fram Endurance and an Amsoil oil filter for the same vehicle and compare. Look like twins.

Why EP? I think Truck & SUV is a better oil. I believe the MOG thinks the same. He used it, not EP, in a Battle Of The Premiums (my term) video versus Pennzoil Ultra Platinum, Red Line, AMSOIL Signature Series, LiquiMoly, Driven LS30, and other top oils.
