    Toyota Severe Service

Google "Killing a Toyota"... Top Gear did a multi part show on a diesel Hilux which is what is mostly driving around the Middle East. It's pretty awesome, even if you're not a Toyota fan.

    BMW advice

My best friend has a 2007 Altima and was trying to sell it due to the CVT starting to fail with 99.xxx miles on it. took it to Carmax and they informed him that Nissan extended the warranty on them to 120,000. Not sure if it's the exact same trans, but def worth a look. Replaced for free.

5w30 is listed as an alternate in my electronic service manual at work, so you're in the clear. Just use 0w20 at the next OC and sleep easy.

    Texaco Havoline FULL SYNTHETIC

Saw it today, $23.99 for 5 quarts and a driveworks filter....I'll trade up for a better filter but that's actually the deal I'm going for this week. Havoline Syn is fine oil, though not talked about much and a only 1 or 2 UOA's. There is an excellent UOA for it in a Dodge Caliber SRT4, just...

    Most reliable diesel pick up?

I'm really just exploring my options...by no means do I "need" a diesel. I really just want one because I've always liked them. wouldn't be towing or doing much hauling. It would pretty much be a daily driver.

    Most reliable diesel pick up?

Thanks guys, I was looking and found this article that seems pretty good. http://www.dieselpowermag.com/features/1201dp_10_best_used_diesel_trucks I would really like to find a 97-98 Ram from a price stand point, but I found a 99 superduty on auto trader that looks great too.

    Most reliable diesel pick up?

I just don't know a whole lot about Powerstroke/Duramax/Cummins. I did hear that one of the Powerstrokes in the last 8-10 years was prone to bad injectors, but that's about it. I would love to have one if I can justify it, but was just curious to see if anyone has any stories, good or bad...

Thanks ddtmoto, that's a deal breaker...no way I'm buying that now. She wanted a van anyway, so maybe she'll go for the Sienna. I love toyotas...my dad has a Tundra with 220000 miles with zero issues...he just bought an FRS and passed the truck on to my little brother. My mom is buying a new...
