House passes bill to make Daylight Saving Time permanent

I'm glad they're focused on the really important stuff like daylight savings time.

The state of everything seems broken...

The collection bill for $0.00 is amazing. They can't get you in when you're sick, takes months to book out a doctor, but darn, if they don't think they're getting paid, it gets the most prompt attention. I'd like to see what the collection agency does with a $0.00 balance collection. :rolleyes...

Does anyone answer emails these days?

I can tell you Lubegard got back to me and I had a positive dialogue re: which of their products I should use in my vehicles. The lady answering was very helpful.

cheapest transport companies for selling a motorcycle to out of state

If I remember correctly, when I was looking to buy a sled from New York to have it shipped to Chicagoland, I thought I used Uship.com Connected with a driver who had a trailer that frequently traveled from NY to Chicago and back and I think at the time it was close to $600. Might check it out...

    DuraMax Global ATF

All I could find online is similar to the link you posted: https://reladyne.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/PDS_DuraMAX_Global_ATF_0222-01.pdf

    84 month car loans

THIS, all of this! I find the car I want, usually lightly used, see the price, see if that is the price I'm willing to pay, and go buy it. Pass on everything else. Helps to pay cash too because you can cut them off at the knees when they start the "Protection Plan" discussion. "One of the...

    DuraMax Global ATF

Local chain of dealers (Napleton) uses this and had not heard of it before. Seems to be a Reladyne product, which again, I don't know much about. Couldn't find much about them via a search either. Curious if anyone has heard of this product and/or used it before.

    2023 Mazda CX5 drain/fill mileage question

Sounds like a perfect time. Not sure you can have overkill on new/fresh fluid anywhere in a vehicle. Seems like a pretty straightforward procedure so why not do it, especially since you're not going to get all of the old fluid out anyway on the first change.

    CCW Renewal

Depending on when your renewal is due, here in Illinois, you have to take a 3 hour refresher course before you can renew. The first application is 16 hours of classroom and range qualification before you're granted. I believe we were the very last state in America to approve CCW too.

    Journey in concert

Love me some Journey. Happy to hear they're still putting on a show. Neil Schon is a guitar legend IMO.

Crashed the Avalon, exploring replacement options

Sorry for the loss of your Avalon. Wonderful vehicles. Glad you’re OK. I think the only one I would avoid is the Hyundai. Camry hybrid is a great car IMO. Can’t go wrong with the V6 Camry/Avalon/ES350 though either. Shocked to hear a 5.7L ate itself at that mileage. Wonder what let go.

How much does ATF expand from volume at 70F to volume at 125F?

Honestly, I’d skip dropping the pan unless you’re changing the filter. If you do decide, as mentioned prior, hit the bolts with some penetrating oil first. Also might help to tighten them just a tad before trying to loosen them. On a side note, LubeGard Platinum has my 110K mile Sequoia...
